Disney Cruise - Disney Wonder Bahamas

This Disney cruise on the Wonder ship was a great experience.  Our rooms were fantastic. Their size was perfect for us, even with a pack 'n play in them. It was good to see they have the shower and toilet separate. I even took a bath in the tub and it was very comfortable. Disney does make the whole process of getting there very easy and we got our luggage all showed up within a reasonable time. The pools were full at the beginning because everybody wanted to swim when they first got on the ship, so we went to enjoy another attraction of the ship. The buffet when you arrive is good and the staff is also fabulous, these people really enjoy their jobs on the Wonder ship.

The Oceaneer’ss Club is fantastic, the kids can do what they want or do the planned activities like one of the nights when they all went to the Oceaneer's Lab (for older kids) and made butter.

The cruise was worth every single cent just for the kid's clubs alone. I recommend you to make your reservations for the nursery because your child will have a lot of fun there and you'll get to relax a bit. You child will be well taken care of, having a great time and safe.

The activities on the ship are fabulous and the navigator that you get in your room each evening is really helpful. It tells you what the kids will be up to, what movies are playing, where characters will be, etc. The ship is smaller than others in port, which for us was comforting. In fact, at one point we looked onto the deck of the Celebrity ship beside us in port and I made a face at the presence of the thing. I like the size which is more in keeping with a classic '30's steamer.

Castaway Cay is awesome and It would be better to spend more than one night at CC. We satyed an hour at the Family Beach, which is rocking with kids, but there was still plenty of chairs and loungers for everyone. We snagged an area under a shady palm tree right off the bat, it came in handy later for our son's nap. After the beach, we rented bikes and took a self guided tour of the island, what a great experience! After the bike ride, we ate lunch at Cookie's BBQ. The lunch was excellent, much better than what we had on board. After lunch, we put our daughter in a hammock and he slept for 2 hours while swinging in the breeze under the shady palm tree.

Finally, Disney has thought of everything and that's the truth. This cruise is ad funny as Disney World, but if my kids wanted some type of Disney experience, I'd be delighted to go on this Disney cruise again.

Disney Cruise - Disney Magic Eastern Caribbean

This Disney cruise on the Magic ship was a great experience. There were no problems at embarking time, but we had to wait a long time for our luggage, and that was a shame but the room was decent, providing comfortable sleeping for all my family. The meals are not great, but I think not everything is perfect when you are on vacation.

For children this Disney cruise is great, they provide amazing shows and having the characters over the ship on a daily basis was fantastic. The movies are the latest, and they are in line with the theme of the cruise. The pools are not too big but we had a lot of fun there.

The shows were absolutely the best part of the trip. My wife hates musicals with all her heart, and I was not sure how was she going to react when we were there. The first night, she was skeptical at best, but walked out of there with a big smile upon our faces. It just got better from there and we did not miss any of the night shows, and we caught one of the adult comedy nights at Rockin D. Disney that far surpasses any other production numbers we have seen in other places, and it was very close to Broadway. We also saw Rich Purpura once, and I wish he had a DVD, because we would buy it. It's been a long time since we all laughed that hard, it was a lot of fun!

At Castaway Cay there is a nice Crystal clear water. The water was in the mid eighties, but very accurate for us. We played on the beach and in the water with the kids most of the day. The food at Cookie's BBQ was great and after lunch, my wife and I went to the adults only beach and it was so quite and relaxing. We had a 2:00 couples cabana massage scheduled and it was not cheap, but it was very relaxing.

We enjoyed the ship a lot. The crew kept things cleaned and picked up. There were always people from the ship staff around taking care of all things. The rooms were nice and very clean. We applied for a Cat. 12 GTY and got upgrade to a Category 11. The sea was a bit rough and we felt it the entire time and the room attendant was sayings us the front of the ship always feels the motion the worst.

Disney Cruise - Disney Magic Western Caribbean

The Disney Magic Ship is one of the options you have for the Disney cruise you are dreaming about.

Our cruise started with a nice Disney style offering us the Bon Voyage party. The party was great, because the characters were amazing and help provided by our Host MC David was always there to give us all fun we were waiting for our Disney cruise!

We had a dinner at Palo, this place is a must when you are on board! We had a great time there! Disney has the right to claim it at this restaurant but this is not the same for the dining room. I think Disney needs to work on the food a little bit. After, dinner there was always something to do for us and for our daughter who loved her program that Disney had set up for the kids.

Also, for Pirate's night on board, go for it bring all your pirate gear, it is fun and Jack Sparrow is there sexy as ever with his devilish smile… you should take a picture with him! The ship photographers do a great job! Thanks to them you can record all special moments with family professional photos done with no sitting fees or obligations.

I would like to say the service people on our cruise were wonderful. Our room great and our kids had a great time with Mickey’s funny ears !!

Embarkation was easy and fast. We got boarding pass 11, but we didn't wait too long, it moved rather quickly. The cruise staff was fantastic, they helped us with everything we needed to make it a memorable Disney cruise.

There were 2 of the evening shows, Twice Charmed and Disney Dreams. Both were fabulous and Broadway caliber. There are some late nite adult shows too.

My primary reason for this cruise is the ship. We did in fact get off at Key west to shop, Cozumel for a Beach break and of course Castaway Cay. Disney had the right idea when the created Castaway Cay, it is fantastic with mangrove type vegetation, beautiful beaches, bicycle and hiking trails palm trees swaying in the breeze, etc.

We chose to remain on the ship in Grand Cayman as we have been before and just wanted to enjoy a day at port. Cozumel was very nice and we enjoyed the beach a lot. Lots of things to do here and is quite pretty in the areas we went to.
